Dr. Hedendal (aka Dr. Bruce) received his B.A. from Harvard College with honors, his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) at New York College of Chiropractic, and a PhD in Holistic Nutrition at Clayton College of Natural Health. A member of MENSA, a diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management, certified instructor for the International Craniopathic Society, BioCranial Academy and SacroOccipital Research Society International, Dr. Brucel has taught professional educational and research seminars in chiropractic, sports nutrition, and complementary/integrative healthcare throughout the USA, Australia and Japan since 1977. As the former Research Director of the International Systemic Health Organization (I.S.H.O), a multidisciplinary research society of health professionals, Dr. Bruce was devoted to the study of the healing effects of specific frequencies of bio-energy and harmonics on human health and disease.

Dr. Bruce has remained on the forefront of performance nutrition, fitness training, holistic medicine and anti-aging therapies in his research clinics in the USA and Australia since the late 70s. Since 1985 he has hosted weekly syndicated radio and internet health programs called “Alternatives To Medicine”, and now hosts his three times weekly radio and internet show “Health Is Wealth Live” from Boca Raton, Florida. A Florida licensed Chiropractic Physician and holistic practitioner, Dr. Bruce continues to work with patients with his analytical scientific nutrition system called Person Specific Nutrition.

Dr.Bruce has two books in pre-publication: one on the superior health benefits of coconut oil and products (including over 125 recipes), and Everything You Knew About Exercise Was Wrong, scheduled to be published in the spring 2007, on the hormonal youthing, strength enhancing, fat-burning and aesthetic benefits of high intensity, short duration exercise, the new- and, as yet, little known fitness paradigm.

To round out his long, distinguished and eclectic career as a health researcher, teacher and practitioner of clinical nutrition, sports chiropractic and holistic and longevity medicine, Dr.Bruce walks the talk, and is a recent World-Class Master’s track & field champion- having won seven world, USA and Australian titles in men’s 40 and 50 age divisions in the past decade alone.
